Workshops, Pop-Ups & Events
You can visit the cafe seven days a week to get your painting fix, but we also love to take Creative Biscuit on the road. If you have an event you'd like us to pop up at get in touch and check out below for events already in our diary.
On the second and fourth Thursday of every month we host a Late Night Painting evening, where we keep the doors open until 10pm (last admittance 8.30pm) so you can get making and creating - you can even bring your own drinks if you wish.
We also regularly host craft workshops with expert tutors (such as weaving, printing, sewing and floral workshops to name a few) so you can learn a new skill, brush up on an old one and have a unique evening out...
Kid's Clay Club
Every Thursday - Term Time
Play with clay at our weekly drop in sessions! Every Thursday you can come to the cafe and get creative with clay and create your own pottery pieces.
Tim will be on hand to give advice and fire your finished items, but you what you make is totally up to you!
£12 per person - Clay and first firing.
£12 per person - Return to paint, glazing and second firing of clay.

Please note: These are handbuilding sessions and we do not have a pottery wheel available for use.
Sessions do not run during school holidays.
Baby Hand and Footprints at Wood Street Bakery
Weds 5 August, 10-12pm
Come to Wood Street Cafe to get baby hand and footprints on ceramics so you can capture their tiny toes and fingers forever.
Creative Biscuit will be bringing cups, plates and bowls and you can request any other ceramics from our entire range. We’re on hand to give you as much - or as little - help as you would like to get the perfect prints. Toddlers and children are welcome to get creative painting on pottery too, as are the parents!
All ceramics are then taken away and fired in our kiln so they last forever and will be returned to Wood Street Bakery the following week for pick up.
Tickets cost £5 - this covers all paints, glazing and firing costs, then you pay for the ceramics you choose on the day. Food and drink can be ordered separately in the cafe (and is very highly recommended).
