Workshops, Pop-Ups & Events
You can visit the cafe seven days a week to get your painting fix, but we also love to take Creative Biscuit on the road. If you have an event you'd like us to pop up at get in touch and check out below for events already in our diary.
On the second and fourth Thursday of every month we host a Late Night Painting evening, where we keep the doors open until 10pm (last admittance 8.30pm) so you can get making and creating - you can even bring your own drinks if you wish.
We also regularly host craft workshops with expert tutors (such as weaving, printing, sewing and floral workshops to name a few) so you can learn a new skill, brush up on an old one and have a unique evening out...
Kid's Clay Club
Every Tuesday - Term Time
Play with clay at our weekly drop in sessions! Every Tuesday you can come to the cafe and get creative with
clay and create your own pottery pieces.
Tim will be on hand to give advice and fire your finished items, but you what you make is totally up to you!
£12 per person - Clay and first firing.
£8 per person - Return to paint, glazing and second firing of clay.
Ages 5 and up

Please note: These are handbuilding sessions and we do not have a pottery wheel available for use.
Sessions do not run during school holidays.
Pop Up Painting at Crate Walthamstow
Weds 1 May, 7-9pm
Get creative at our monthly evening pottery painting workshop at the fantastic Crate Walthamstow in 17&Central.
Paint pottery while grabbing a drink and a bite to eat. This month it's one for the green fingered (or those who aspire to be) as we bring plant pots of all sizes that you can paint to make prettier homes for your plants. You can also choose from ceramic cups, plates and bowls, which you can also decorate with underglaze paint in any design you want. We then glaze and fire your ceramics in our kiln so they can be used forever.

Pop Up Painting at Crate Walthamstow
Weds 5 June, 7-9pm
Get creative at our monthly evening pottery painting workshop at the fantastic Crate Walthamstow in 17&Central.
Paint pottery while grabbing a drink and a bite to eat. This month it's one for pizza fans, so you can paint a plate to dish up your homemade or delivered pizza for everyone to share (sharing not obligatory!). You can also choose from ceramic cups, plates and bowls, which you can also decorate with underglaze paint in any design you want. We then glaze and fire your ceramics in our kiln so they can be used forever.

Pop Up Painting at Mother's Ruin
Sunday 19 May, 1-3pm
All are welcome to come along to Mother's Ruin Gin Palace in Walthamstow to try your hand at ceramic painting at our pop up on Sunday 19 May, 1-3pm.
Come along with friends, family and the kids to get creative painting on pottery. We will bring along a range of ceramics for you to choose from and we will be on hand to help. You can grab drinks and bar snacks from the fabulous team at Mother's Ruin while you paint and babies are welcome too - and we can also help you get hand or footprints.
Tickets £4 entry then pay for ceramics on the day (you only need a ticket for painters)
